The permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations will hold its session here on October 26, it was announced today.
The agenda includes the consideration of the petitions of the Orthodox Agudath Israel and of the Jerusalem Ashkenazic Committee, both directed against the provisions of the Palestine Communities Ordinance.
The petitions were due for consideration during the June session of the Commission. They were postponed at the request of the petitioners. M. Palacios will be the rapporteur on these questions.
The agenda also includes the consideration of a petition despatched by coble by the anti-Zionist Arab Congress held in Jerusalem on July 24, demanding that Palestine be given a democratic parliamentary form of government. Dr. William Rappard. Swiss member of the Permanent Mandates Commission, will be the rapporteur on this question.
