Permission to import Palestine wine was granted to the Mizrach Wine Company, 320 Grand Street, New York, Julius L. Horowitz announced yesterday.
The permit was issued by New York Prohibition Administrator Maurice Campbell and Dr. Seymour Lowman, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, in Washington.
The permission pertains to Palestine wine which is to be used for Jewish sacramental purposes. Twenty thousand five hundred gallons will be imported for the coming Passover holidays, the company announced.
