Permission to write insurance in the State of Illinois has been granted to the Judea Life Insurance Company of New York, according to an announcement made yesterday.

With the State of Illinois, the Judea Life Insurance Company is now operating in New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Maine, Ohio, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia.

The completion of the sale of forty thousand shares of the capital stock of the Judea Industrial Corporation of New York and the investment of the proceeds amounting to $1,000,000. in the Judea Insurance Company Ltd. of Palestine, which has established the Judea Life Insurance Company in New York, is announced in a statement issued to the Jewish Daily Bulletin. A meeting under the auspices of the Judea Industrial Corporation has been called for Sunday evening August 14th at 8 o’clock in the Grand Ball Room of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. At this meeting Col. Francis R. Stoddard. General Counsel of the Company, Morris Pike, General Manager, Prof. S. B. Ackerman, Dr. I. Sosswitz, and Theodore R. Racoosin are scheduled to discuss the affairs of the Company and its plans.
