President Juan Peron has granted permission for a number of Jewish DP’s from Foehrenwald, the last remaining Jewish DP camp in Germany, to come to this country, it was announced here today. The refugees, who have been trained in agricultural work, will be resettled on farms in this country.
The request for the admission of the refugees was made to Peron by Ezequiel Zabotinsky, president of the pro-Peronist Organizacion Israelita Argentina. The HIAS will pay transportation expenses of the refugee immigrants.
