President Juan Peron has promised that Jewish DP immigrants will be admitted to Argentina without quota restrictions if they have a guarantee provided by the Organization Israelita Argentina, a spokesman for the pro-Peronist O.I.A. announced here. The announcement followed a twohour audience granted by Peron to a six-man O.I.A. delegation.
The delegation spokesman said that the President reiterated that his government will not tolerate racial discrimination, and that the President expressed his sympathy for the state of Israel. The delegation informed the Chief Executive that it had translated the new Argentine Constitution and the Peronist program into Yiddish.
