A total of $4, 803, 366, the largest in eight years, was raised by the Allied Jewish Appeal Campaign here, it was announced last night at a dinner here concluding the 1957 drive. The 1957 results surpassed the 1956 final figure by $500, 000 and the 1955 sum by $1, 000, 000.
Alex F. Stanton, general chairman of the drive, revealed that 10, 000 volunteers had participated in the campaign. Nearly 100, 000 Philadelphians contributed.
