Leaders of the Jewish Community Relations Council here held a closed meeting last night at which they discussed a report on the investigation now being conducted with regard to the possibility of the existence of a Hitler-like youth movement in one of the city’s high schools.
The investigation was started by the District Attorney’s office after young vandals admitted that they participated in the fire-bombing of a local synagogue on January 13. They testified that a youth movement, modeled after the Nazi youth movement in Germany, was flourishing in the Olney High School, with a membership of 100 boys.
Police authorities today expressed the opinion that the boys are being influenced by some adult mind.
