Philadelphia Jewish World to Resume Sept. 6

The Jewish World, Philadelphia’s only Yiddish daily, which suspended publication on May 5, will reappear Sept. 6, it was announced today. It will no longer operate as an employee-owned, cooperative enterprise. It has been reorganized by a group headed by Jacob Ginsburg, founder of the newspaper, and Henry Potter, who has been associated with the publication in an executive capacity for more than 23 years. Ginsburg and Potter will serve as publisher and president respectively.
