Members of the Jewish community, approximately 250 in number, last night paid tribute to Abraham Goldberg, Jewish publicist and orator, on his fiftieth birthday anniversary. Goldberg came to this country thirty-three years ago.
Professor Fineman of Temple University, Rabbi B. L. Levinthal, Abraham Hirsch, chairman of the executive committee of the Philadelphia Council of the American Jewish Congress; Judge William M. Lewis, Jacob Ginsburg, Mrs. Oscar Bender, Jacob Zausmer and L. Arthur Greenstein were among the speakers at the dinner. William B. Leaf, chairman of the Philadelphia council of the American Jewish Congress, presided.
