Volunteers from the Philadelphia area who served in the armed forces of Israel have formed a local chapter of the American Veterans of Israel. The objectives of the group include aid to Israel, help to those veterans who remained in Israel or wish to return there to settle, and to act as a rehabilitation and information center for veterans who reside in the United States. Rudolph Augarten was elected temporary chairman and Martin Paskman, secretary.
