The Phoenix Jewish News was given today the Arizona Newspaper Association’s first-place award in the special publication category of the organization’s Better Newspaper contest for 1962. The plaque given the Jewish weekly of Phoenix cited the publication for “general excellence. ” The association made the award at the conclusion of its 23rd annual convention here.
