The Ica has now been registered in Palestine as the “Pica” according to an ordinance published in the official gazette. The organization is now authorized to establish agricultural and industrial settlements in Palestine, to construct roads, tramways and habors and to assist in the emigration to Palestine of workers for the colonies and enterprises.
James Rothschild has been appointed president of the organization for life.
