Two groups of pilgrims, headed by church leaders, are en route to Israel. One group from France, headed by Msgr. Charles, Archbishop of the Sacre-coeur Diocese in Paris, which will arrive in Haifa tomorrow, numbers 200 and will tour the Galilee, Jerusalem, Jericho and Hebron. The second group, arriving Aug. 10, will be headed by the Archbishop of York, the Most Rev. Frederick Donald Coggan. The group will number 60 British pilgrims and will be accompanied by Kathleen Kenyon, archaeologist and author, principal of St. Hugh’s College of Oxford University and former head of the British School of Archaeology in Jerusalem.
