The chairman of the Jewish Agency urged a convention of Moroccan Jews today to encourage immigration to Israel of their fellow Jews still in Morocco and of thousands of other North African Jews who have found “temporary settlement” in France and Canada. Louis Pincus told the 200 delegates that efforts must be made to bridge the gap that still exists between the earnings and educational standards of immigrants from Asia and Africa and those from Western countries.
