Abraham Rosenthal, one of the first Jewish immigrants from Russia, who upon arrival in this country took to farming, died today at the age of seventy following a prolonged illness.
Born in Kovno, Mr. Rosenthal came to the United States some forty years ago and established himself on a farm in New York state. Some years later he moved to Vineland, N. J. where he became one of the best known farmers in the vicinity.
The latter years of his life were spent in this city where he succumbed. His wife, Mrs. Eva Rosenthal and five children survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at the Free Synagogue for Henry G. Davis, for many years active in the theatrical and motion picture worlds, who died at the age of 71.
Burial will take place at the Westchester Hills Cemetery.
