The 14th biennial convention of the Pioneer Women, Women’s Labor Zionist organization of the United States and Canada, closed here yesterday following the announcement of a half-million dollar gift to the Histadrut and the Pioneer Women for the establishment of trade schools for boys and girls in Tel Aviv. The donor was Mrs. Florence Holtz of Philadelphia, who made the gift in memory of her husband, the late Leon Holtz.
Chaya Surchin of New York was elected president, succeeding Dr. Sarah Feder.
