Ten years of activity in behalf of Palestine will be celebrated by the Pioneer Women’s Organization, at its tenth annual convention to be held at the Graemere Hotel from Thursday, October 17, through Sunday, October 21. The opening session will be held at the Covenant Club.
The Pioneer Women’s Organization is an affiliate of the Moatzath Hapoaloth, the Women’s Council of the Federation of Jews in Palestine. During the years of its existence, the Pioneer Women’s Organization has contributed to many Palestinian charities.
The principal speaker at its convention will be the Palestinian delegate of the organization, Elisheva Kaplan, who has lived in Palestine since 1920. She was at one time secretary of Moatzath Hapoaloth, has worked in the colonies and for five years managed Meshek Poaloth.
Miss Kaplan, coming to this country to address the tenth annual convention of the Pioneer Women’s Organization of Chicago, will arrive on the Berengaria tomorrow.
