A decision favoring the unification of the Zionist Labor movement in the United States was adopted here last night at the convention of the Pioneer Women, the women’s Labor Zionist group in this country. The decision calls for setting up an overall authoritative body composed of representatives of the Labor Zionist Organization of American, the National Jewish Labor Alliance, the Pioneer Women and the Habonim, a Zionist Laborite youth organization.
Dr. Sarah Feder was elected national president of the Pioneer Women, succeeding Mrs. Bert Goldstein. Mrs. Sarah Kahn was elected secretary and Mrs. Ray Levitt treasurer. The convention adopted a resolution expressing thanks to Mrs. Goldstein for her “outstanding service and dynamic leadership” during the past four years when she was the head of the organization.
