The sum of $20,000 was cabled this week by the Pioneer Women’s Organization of America to the Working Women’s Council in Palestine, it was announced here last night at the opening of the Spring Bazaar of the New York section of the organization.
The proceeds of the Bazaar will be used both for American war relief and for the relief of refugees in Palestine. The $20,000 will be utilized for the establishment of the new “victory” farm announced at the fifth national conference of the organized Jewish working women of Palestine held last week in Tel Aviv. The Pioneer Women’s Organization has 225 sections in the United States and Canada.
