An assembly of the Moetzet Gedolei Hatora, composed of the leading Orthodox authorities of Israel, today proclaimed a world-wide day of prayer for tomorrow against the implementation of the national service bill for non-military service for Orthodox women exempted from the armed services.
The assembly cabled Jewish communities throughout the world asking that they join in tomorrow’s prayers against the conscription bill in Israel.
