More than 500 persons attended the official dedication of the chapel at the Shaare Torah Cemetery on Sunday. Memorial services were conducted by Cantor Benjamin Kimel and were concluded with addresses by Rabbis M. B. Sivitz, A. M. Levin and B. A. Lichter, Judge Benjamin Lencher and Attorney Charles H. Sachs.
A packed auditorium at the Y.M. & W. H.A. listened Monday night to Zalman Rubashow, vice-president of the World Zionist Actions Committee, and Abraham Goldberg, journalist and orator. The speakers, brought here under the auspices of the Pittsburgh Zionist Congress, discussed the coming world Zionist Congress.
The Mizrachi Women’s Organization here is celebrating today (Wednesday) the tenth anniversary of its founding. Mrs. Samuel H. Marcus is general chairman of the event.
