A new settlement, Neve Moshe-Chanina, named after Morris Neaman, Zionist leader, and his son Chanina, is to be built on Jewish National Fund land in the vicinity of Tel Aviv, as a result of an agreement signed here today by Mrs. Rose Neaman and Dr. Abraham Granott, chairman of the board of directors of the JNF in Jerusalem.
Morris. Neaman was one of the early leaders of the Zionist movement in America and chairman of the United Jewish Appeal for the Tri-State area. His son Chanina Neaman met his death in a tragic accident. It is understood that Mrs. Neaman is making the gift to the Jewish National Fund in Israel currency amounting to 25,000 pounds.
