This city will be host to the delegates who gather here January 12 and 13 to form plans for a Connecticut branch of the United Synagogues of America. Members of Jewish congregations throughout the state have appointed representatives who will attend the conference. Plans for organization will be drawn up.
One of the problems facing the Connecticut Jews and expected to be solved at the session is presented by the small communities of Jewish farmers isolated in various sections of the state. Heretofore these farmers were without education facilities for their children and often without spiritual leadership.
