The Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Center elected Isidore Hershfield, a member of the Board, to attend the funeral of Louis Marshall in New York as the special representative of the Jewish Community Center. Mr. Marshall presided at the laying of the corner stone of the Center, at which President Coolidge made his address regarding the Jews and their contribution to civilization, and was largely instrumental in its establishment.
The Board of Directors also adopted a resolution for the setting up of a memorial tablet to Mr. Marshall in the Center.
