The educational committee of the Polish parliament today rejected the Jewish proposal to introduce the Hebrew and Yiddish languages into government schools attended by a large number of Jewish students.
The proposal was rejected by a majority of votes of deputies belonging to the pro-government party and to the anti-Semitic National Democratic party.
