Religious problems are to play an important part in discussions of the eighth Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia, which begins July 1 and will continue for two weeks.
Various questions concerning religion will be discussed in four different round-table conferences. Two of these will be held each week.
During the second week the discussions will be on “Protestant-Catholic-Jewish Relationships in America,” led by the Rev. Dr. Everett R. Clinchy, director of the National Conference of Jews and Christians.
Among those scheduled to appear before the religious groups are Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, of New York City, and Rabbi Edward N. Calish, of Richmond, Va.
