A series of seminars will be conducted in the nation’s important cities to arouse communities “to a greater sense of inter-relationship of Judaism and social ideals.” This was decided at a joint meeting of the Social Justice Commission of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and the Social Justice Commission of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, held at the Union offices here.
Those attending Wednesday’s meeting include the following: Union Commission, Milford Stern, Detroit, chairman; Robert P. Goldman and Rabbi James G. Heller, both of Cincinnati. C. C. A. R. Commission, Rabbi Edward L. Israel, Baltimore, chairman; Rabbi William F. Rosenblum, New York City; Dr. Abraham Cronbach, Cincinnati; and Dr. Samuel H. Goldenson, Pittsburgh.
