The B-17 forced down at Bone, Algeria, on its way from Israel to Latin America, and the smaller cargo plane which flew out with a spare engine and party of mechanics to repair the Flying fortress, landed at Lydda airport a few hours apart last night.
The haggard crews were under strict orders from the authorities to speak to no newspapermen and to maintain absolute silence about the entire affair.
