Plans for the 1965 Israel bond drive, and a review of the results of the 1964 campaign, are the major items on the agenda for the three-day National Planning Conference of the Israel Bond Organization, which will be held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel starting January 15.
More than 300 outstanding Jewish community leaders and members of the Board of Governors of Israel Bonds will participate in the conference, according to Louis H. Boyar, chairman of the Board of Governors. Principal speakers at the parley will be Ambassador Michael Comay, chief of Israel’s delegation to the United Nations, and United States Senator John O. Pastore, chairman of the Joint Congressional Committee on Atomic Energy, and Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization.
