Plans to open a high school for Orthodox Jewish boys at a New Jersey synagogue have run into opposition from local residents. The Asbury Park Press reported Wednesday that townspeople in Roosevelt, including many Jews, have initiated a petition to recall Mayor Neil Marko, a synagogue trustee, for supporting the plans.
