Plastic irrigation pipes and other agricultural equipment left behind by Neot Sinai settlers when they evacuated their vegetable fields last Thursday were found destroyed by vandals when the settlers returned to claim their property Sunday. Several sections of cultivated land and newly planted sapplings were burned. The authorities suspect a local Bedouin tribe. The vegetable fields lie in the area adjacent to El Arish which was returned to Egyptian savereignty Friday.
