Because religions differ there is no reason why they should be antagonistic, declared the Rev. Dr. Peter Ainslie, pastor of the Christian Temple, who presided Monday night at the Three-fold Movement-Union of East and West, League of Neighbors and Fellowship of Faiths.
The meeting was held in the Har Sinai Temple, and an Aryan Hindu, a Buddhist Hindu, a Jew and a Christian, discussed the topic, “What Is Human Life For?”
Rabbi Edward L. Israel, of the Har Sinai Congregation, said while mar could not, being human, know what life was for, at least man could say what seemed to be of value in life. He defined things of value as “work, culture and reverence for God and humanity.”
