The PLO will open an office in Helsinki in the near future, Prime Minister Kalevi Sorsa of Finland said several days ago. In an interview, Sorsa stated that Finland views the PLO as the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people. The Finnish leader was in Austria last week on an official visit during which he met with Chancellor Bruno Kreisky. The two discussed international political developments.
