Labor Zionists of this city last night celebrated with a banquet at the Central Plaza, 111 Second Avenue, the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of the Poale Zion Party in America, Among the scheduled speakers were Berl Locker, member of the World Zionist Executive who is in this country on a special mission; Baruch Zuckerman, member of the Histadruth delegation in America, and Chaim Greenberg, editor of the Yiddisher Kaempfer.
Greetings were read from the following: Judge Julian Mack, Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Louis Lipsky, Morris Rothenberg and others.
Events celebrating the anniversary will be held in Detroit the weel of Dec. 9, in which the Canadian branch of the party will participate.
