Abraham Podliszevski, president of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society of Poland, died here today at the age of 68. One of the pioneer Zionists of Poland, he has always been active in Jewish communal endeavors but he has given most of his time to the Immigrant Aid Society. Before the war he was a wealthy textile manufacturer but in recent years the post-war economic depression and the various discriminations to which Jews were subjected left him in poor circumstances.
