Poland has agreed, for humanitarian reasons, to permit the emigration to Israel of Jewish orphans, the Polish Charge d’Affaires in Israel revealed today during a tour of a Youth Aliyah center at Magdiel.
The diplomat, J. Slowikowsky, announced that the first group of Jewish children and youths might arrive in Israel next week. Mr. Slowikowsky also said that Poland and Israel would soon sign a trade agreement.
