THE CONSUL EXPLAINED THAT WHILE POLAND WOULD BE GLAD TO RECEIVE A FRENCH WRITER, THE JEWISH QUESTION WAS POLAND’S “INTERNAL PROBLEM AND NO CONCERN OF A FOREIGNER.”
