Police and Nazis today carried out a raid on the Grenadierstrasse, the Jewish working class district of Berlin. All the houses were thoroughly searched. Everyone in the houses was interrogated and their papers examined. Those not in possession of adequate indentifying documents were taken into custody and removed on lorries to the police station.
The police declare that they unearthed a number of documents and several weapons.
