Police are making preparations to prevent riots here May 1, when Jewish War Veterans of this city will hold a presentation of colors ceremony in one part of the community and Nazi sympathizers will stage their first mass meeting in another.
The veterans will congregate at the New York State Naval Armory. while the Nazi session is scheduled for an “undisclosed place” on Huguenot street.
Chain letters attacking Jews as “inciters of revolutions and anarchism” have been distributed here.
