Two more boys were arrested by New York police today, in addition to one apprehended yesterday, on charges of having desecrated the Mount Zion cemetery. Jewish burial grounds in suburban Maspeth, Queens. All three, the first 15, the two others 14, were members of a “Nazi Club,” fitted out with photographs of Hitler and Adolf Eichmann, swastikas, and pictures of gas ovens, according to police.
About 200 stones had been overturned at the cemetery, causing damage estimated at $100,000, the police authorities said. All three were held for arraignment in Children’s Court. Police withheld the names of the boys because of their ages.
