The police have assigned a new investigation team to the case of Oron Yarden who was kidnapped on June 8 in the hope that it will come up with fresh ideas leading to the recovery of the eight-year-old boy. Massive searches by the police; aided by soldiers and civilian volunteers have been fruitless so far and the investigation has failed to yield firm clues as to the identity of the abductors.
Meanwhile, Oron’s parents, Penina and Amos Yarden of Tel Aviv, thanked the government and the police, in an advertisement published in newspapers today, for their efforts to find the child.
