Police broke up an unauthorized demonstration Sunday by members of SIAH near Nablus. Six of the 70 demonstrators were detained briefly and released in the Netanya area. The protest was held near the village of Akraba, part of whose lands have been included in a military reservation. This was apparently the reason for the protest. The police acted when the demonstrators refused to disperse and attempted to by-pass police barriers set up near the village.
