Police in the former Soviet republic of Moldova arrested two teen-agers suspected of destroying almost 50 tombstones in a Jewish cemetery during Passover. Police claim that the youths in the incident in the city of Kishinev were not motivated by anti-Semitism, according to the Union of Councils for Jews in the Former Soviet Union.
