The British Police Inspector Duff, who gained notoriety on account of the part he played in the Wailing Wall incident last Yom Kippur and on several occasions afterward because of his brutal attitude, was transferred from his Jerusalem post, according to a report in the “Doar Ha’yom” today.

The inspector was given charge of the prison labor groups near Megiddo.

Last week the Vaad Leumi and the Vaad Ha’ir, two official Jewish bodies, presented a complaint against Inspector Duff to the Jerusalem commandant, because of his brutality during the Lag Bomer celebration here.
