The bill now under consideration by the Polish parliament concerning the withdrawal of concessions on monopolized articles, which threatens the existence of many thousands of Jewish families, holds the attention of both Christian and Jewish merchants and organizations.

The Club of Jewish Deputies in the Polish Parliament created a special comission for the purpose of dealing with this bill. The commission, consisting of Deputies Reich, Frostig and Sommerstein held another conference with the Polish Minister of Trade, who is the author of the bill.

The Polish Merchants Association has decided to take action against the passing of the bill and has created a special commission for that purpose.
