The bill adopted by Parliament to restrict kosher slaughtering was transmitted today to the Council of Ministers for the President’s signature, after which it will be published in the official gazette as a law.
Meanwhile, the first consignment of cattle for non-kosher slaughter arrived at the cattle market. Anti-Semitic newspapers commented that it marked the initiation of the exclusion of Jews from the cattle trade.
