Polish Court Condones Defacing Jewish Shops

It is no crime to deface shops owned by Jews by pasting swastikas and anti-Semitic slogans upon their windows, the Supreme Court ruled here yesterday.

The court’s decision was rendered in the case of Stefan Dobrowolski, a member of the National Radical party, who had been convicted and sentenced by a police court for the crime. The Supreme Court, in its ruling, established the point of law and ordered the Nara freed.
