FIFTY JEWS HAVE BEEN FINED 50 ZLOTYS EACH BY A CZESTOCHOWA COURT FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH A POLICE ORDER FOR REMOVAL OF SUCCOTH (BOOTHS USED IN CELEBRATING THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES). OTHERS ARE AWAITING TRIAL. THE CZESTOCHOWA JEWISH COMMUNITY APPEALED TO THE RABBINICAL ASSOCIATION TO INTERVENE WITH THE MINISTER OF PUBLIC WORSHIP.

TEACHERS IN THE DROHOWICZ SCHOOLS, IN THE LWOW DISTRICT, REFUSED TO INTERVENE WHEN POLISH PUPILS FORCED JEWS TO TAKE SEATS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF classrooms.
