THE JEWISH DEPUTIES CLUB, COMPRISING MEMBERS AND FORMER MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT, INTERVENED TODAY WITH THE FOREIGN MINISTRY AGAINST THE NAZI WAVE OF ANTI-JEWISH TERRORISM IN DANZIG. MOST OF THE VICTIMS ARE POLISH CITIZENS, THE DELEGATION SAID.
THE POLISH HIGH COMMISSIONER IN DANZIG LODGED A PROTEST WITH THE FREE CITY’S NAZI CONTROLLED SENATE AGAINST THE DAMAGES AND LOSSES SUFFERED BY POLISH CITIZENS. THE INCIDENTS WERE HELD A VIOLATION OF THE POLISH-DANZIG ACCORD OF AUG. 13, 1932.
THE POLISH HIGH COMMISSIONER ACCEPTED AS SATISFACTORY THE SENATE’S ASSURANCE THAT MEASURES HAD BEEN TAKEN TO AVOID A RECURRENCE OF THE DISTURBANCES AND THAT THE CASES CITED IN THE PROTEST WOULD BE INVESTIGATED IMMEDIATELY.
