The prolonged conflict between the Polish and Hungarian governments concerning the mistreatment, interning and expulsion of Galician Jews who are resident in Hungary has of late become so acute, that the Hungarian government was compelled to agree that a mixed commission of both governments take up the matter for final settlement. This Hungarian-Polish Commission has now started its work and will make a thorough survey of the situation. It is stated that the Polish Government has prepared a full plan which will be submitted to the Commission as to the steps necessary to put an end to the sufferings of Galician Jews in Hungary.
